Summers Over

Summers over and breakfast is cooking! Oh, OK…that’s a line from “Old Dan Tucker”, but it seemed so natural.

What have I been doing? Not much!

What do you expect from a dog already? Actually I did grow a sty on my eye, and then had it removed. Not to much fun, but then again, that’s the life of a dog. And while I was under the doctor’s care, I had my teeth cleaned…A few weeks later, utwas off to the groomers to get a bath and a haircut. So how I’m all tuned up and ready for the fall season.

Boy was that stock market thing a hot or what. What goes up must come down…And of course, what goes down has gotta come back uo again. That is the way the market works, and all the grat gashing of teeth does no good at all….

It’s funny actually. The stock market and the economy works exactly like the laws of nature.

You reap what you sow (It cannot be any other way)
Every cycle in the planting, growing, harvest and dormant season is recurring
You cannot force the issue, and you cannot get blood form a turnip.

It’s Hot in North Carolina

I have been in the South before. Actually I have been here lots of times, and one thing that I always notice is that it’s hot here. The sticky, sweaty, clothes stick to you hot.

The only thing worst than hot and sticky is cold as a well-diggers butt and snow blowing all over the place cold.

Is it too much pie-in-the-sky all over the place to expect to be able to find weather thats OK?

It’s true.

If you think you can, you can.

Think about what you want. Think that you can get it, or do it…And you can.

Think about it, then just do it.

It helps if you have a plan…a road map, and that besides consistent action and persistence is all you need. No kidding!

What is a professional blogger?

Does it not seem silly to anyone but me that a type of person could proclaim that they are a professional blogger? I mean this is the sort of person who is so impressed by their own self that they actually believe that they can earn a living telling others how to:

Get more people to read your blog
Become a better blogger
Sell products on your blog
Create products that will make you rich
Become an SEO Ninja!

Holy cow batman! What’s more suprising is that so many people will send the pros money! And encourage them even more to sit around on their fat butts, typing and dreaming of how great they are!

Blogging is a lot like writing on the wall. In public. You can and should do it any way you want. period

What do you think about all that?

I’d love to hear if I’m way off in left field here, or if a few others are thinking in a similar mode.

Now don’t get me wrong…If someone has some good ideas to share for the betterment of mankind, then that’s great! Helping is good…If someone wants to bitch about the government, the draft, the war, the taxes, the election, unfair trade practices and imported cars…Go ahead man! Rant on.

That’s why we have writing on the wall.

Free speech is a wonderful thing because we also have the right to change channels…It’s just a little sad that experts always rush in to tell the rest of us how to write on the wall better. Who makes these experts anyway?

Come on in, and sit a spell. Not much going on around here today. It’s cold out side for this time of the year, so I was snoozing all day long…

My favorite food is popped corn. You know, the kind that makes all those cool noises while it’s in the microwave. I do a little dance every time I heard that sound. Then I run to the family room to get ready for a few salty, butter soaked kernels. Man, that’s the life!
